Snowy Day.
What crazy weather we have had the last two days. One minute the sun will be out and the next second the snow is falling. Now that Maddie is a little older, we just had to get her out into the snow again. She seemed to pay a lot more attention to it this time. Several months ago when we had snow she didn't make notice of it at all. Today she certainly enjoyed watching the snowflakes fall and even rolled around in the snowy grass a little.
Playdate with Grady and Lucas
On Tuesday Feb. 22nd a few of my coworkers got together with our little ones for a play date. While the mommies had lunch the kiddos enjoyed eachothers' company and toys! Grady is 10 days older than Maddie and Lucas is a month older than Maddie. Looking forward to many play dates in the future.

She's 7 Months Old!!
Attempting to avoid looking at the camera. She just moves to much to be able to get her looking at the camera anymore. :-)
Geesh....our baby girl is now 7 months old! What a fabulous 7 months it has been. Madison remains such a happy girl. ALWAYS making people stop in their tracks any time we are out in public as she loves everyone's attention and she happily greets them with smiles. She is sitting up like a pro now and a majority of the time catching herself before she topples over. We are definitely working with her on crawling as her next mode of transportation, but for now it seems as though she is happy rolling from one end of the room to the next. She often finds herself stuck under the coffee table or up against the entertainment center.Maddie continues to be a GREAT eater - although she still remains very long and lean. She is just going to be our little peanut. Her favorite foods at this point in time are pears, apples, squash, and sweet potatoes. And she ABSOLUTELY LOVES her "mum-mums." When she sees the package coming towards her, she can hardly contain herself. And if mommy is not fast enough she attempts to throw a little temper tantrum. LOL. It is just too cute, but we are definitely going to have to break her of that habit as we begin teaching her manners. :-)
She continues to be a great sleeper both at night time and during nap times. Gives us the chance to be able to get the things done around the house that is needed. She is typically sleeping for 11 hours straight at night and takes a 1-2 hour morning nap and about a 1 hour afternoon nap. She's such a good little girl. We look forward to all that is to come as she continues to grow and develop. I know that I find myself saying this in almost every blog entry, but I just can't believe how time in flying! For now we just need to enjoy EVERY minute of our little girl!

First ride in the radio flyer wagon.
For Christmas Great Granny Margaret and Great Auntie Ann bought Madison a red radio flyer wagon. Every kid needs a wagon, so we were thrilled to open in. We finally got it all put together today. Since it wasn't raining out, we found today to be the perfect day to go for a little stroll. Maddie loved getting all bundled up and going out for a walk this afternoon. She is such a curious little girl and is ALWAYS checking out all of her surroundings. She loves going for walks. We can't wait until the weather is a bit nicer so we can enjoy the sunshine on our walks together.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
What a fun first Valentine's Day we had with Maddie. We started out by celebrating a day early with Grandma Jill, Grandpa Randy and Uncle Kevin. Had a wonderful afternoon by playing some Wii games and having a great turkey dinner.
Yesterday I was supposed to work, but thankfully was put on call so I got to spend the evening making dinner for John and hanging out with two people I love the most in this world. As John and I were eating dinner, we gave Madison a slice of lemon to keep her busy. Much to our surprise....she liked it! She is getting REALLY good at throwing fits when things are taken away from her, so she quickly burst into a tantrum when we took the lemon away. LOL.
