10 Months Old

She's growing up!

Reaching for the camera.

Playing at the park with Grandma Jill and her camera case. Geesh.....this silly girl and that danr camera case. LOL.

Picnic in the park. Trying to be a big girl and feed herself her lunch.

On Friday May 20th Madison turned 10 months old. She is such a busy girl these days and definitely keeping mommy and daddy chasing after her ALL the time. Although still extremely petite, she is a very healthy little girl and LOVES to eat. There pretty much isn't anything as of yet that she hasn't liked. Two of her new favorites is plain red kidney beans and watermelon. It's a great time of the year to start enjoying watermelon!

Maddie LOVES being outside....cruising around in her wagon and push car or even just hanging out in her pack 'n play while mommy and daddy get stuff accomplished in the yard. She is absolutely thrilled watching the other kids in the neighborhood as they ride their bikes or play basketball.

Over the last week or so, Maddie has begun to stand unassisted for several seconds at a time. Wonder if she will be walking soon?!? Yikes! Better get our running shoes on after that because I know this little busy body with be fast as lightening.

Picnic in the Park

Maddie and Mommy ready to enjoy our picnic in the beautiful sunshine!

She wasn't so sure about the whole sun hat thing. I thought it was just too cute though.

Enjoying some lunch in the park.

Hanging out with her buddy Gideon.

"I like your hat and shirt, Gideon!"

Having some good 'ol baby conversation.

Exploring the park.

Gideon is such a ham.

Gideon and his mommy Sarah having fun on the swings.

Maddie and mommy's turn on the swings.

This swing makes her look sooooo tiny, but she had a blast!

Our happy little girl LOVED swinging!

Yesterday Madison and I enjoyed a picnic at Les Gove Park in Auburn with my good friend Sarah and her one year old son Gideon. Maddie and Gideon have always gotten a long quite well. It seemed as though they enjoyed each others company as well as each others lunches. Because it was such a beautiful sunny day, I wanted to keep Maddie as shaded as possible from the sun. I brought along one of her many ADORABLE sunhats. Apparently she is not a hat girl! She would not keep the darn things on for more than 30 seconds at a time. After lunch, the kiddos enjoyed exploring, playing, and most of all swinging. Maddie looked sooo tiny in the gigantic swing, but she sure did have a blast!

Posing in her ride.

Driving her car! Toot, toot....outta my way!

On the carousel with daddy.

She really did like the slide although in the picture she is squinting from the sun.

Standing up in her Radio Flyer Wagon.

Maddie and Brooklyn - our little 16 month old next door neighbor.

Maddie just LOVES being outside. It seems as though she can get enough of it. Glad she's an outdoors kind of girl. We can't wait for the weather to be nice and actually stay nice so we can enjoy more time outside with her.

Mother's Day

This little lady makes my day EVERYDAY!

Happy Mother's Day hugs and kisses.

Loves for Grandma Jill.

She's all smiles!

Checking out mommy's Mother's Day flowers.

Havin' a snack.

It's been a busy few weeks thus not much time for me to post many new blogs. Madison continue to amaze us EVERY day with her charm and sense of humor. Although it's been a rough few months for us, she is the one that's able to make us smile and enjoy every day.

Mother's day was a very special afternoon for us all. We enjoyed brunch and great company at Grandma Jill and Grandpa Randy's house - along with Uncle "Keke", Grandma Kathy, Great Granny Margaret, Great Grandma Aldine, and Great Grandpa Frank. We all chowed down on vegetable quiche, breakfast casserole, fresh fruit, homemade cinnamon rolls, and tasty mimosas. Even Madison enjoyed a little of the breakfast casserole. What a wonderful afternoon to celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, and great grandmothers.
